Inside, the hallway extends towards a T-shaped wooden terrace. Furnished with antiques, this breezy open-air living area runs the length of the house and boasts a delightful dining section that just out over the tranquil gardens as they tumble into the steep ravine.

An hour and fifteen minutes’ drive from Ngurah Rai international airport, Ubud is Bali’s centre for fine arts, dance and music; while the surrounding villages are home to Bali’s most accomplished painters, dancers, musicians and carvers. Each of the four bedrooms features red-hued hardwood floors, double sliding glass and louvre doors that open onto the terrace, en-suite bathrooms, fitted wardrobes and safety deposit boxes.
The ‘Master Bedroom’ is furnished in a contemporary style, enhanced by a bell jar ceiling lantern, Indonesian artefacts and paintings by local artists. Louvre doors lead into a dressing room, fitted with a chunky marble washbasin and teak cabinets and adjacent to the bathroom, with its marble bathtub and shower. The glassless windows in the bathroom allow the cool breezes to permeate, and provide lovely views of the main garden area and swimming pool bordering the river valley.

The ‘Red Room’ is characterised by red accessories such as the lamps and paintings; and the ‘Cinnamon Room’ by the spicy-scented cinnamon stick arrangement in the vase above the bed. Both of these bedrooms feature a private garden bathroom with a marble bathtub surrounded by walls and leafy shrubs.
A separate thatched pavilion houses the ‘Garden Suite’, a cosy bedroom that also doubles as air-conditioned lounge containing shelves of DVDs and books. The Garden Suite features an en-suite garden bathroom with a canopied bathtub.

A fully-equipped kitchen is behind the Garden Suite and is accessible from the car-parking area. There is so much attention to detail; even the water tower is decorated with fanciful carved flowers, dragonflies and birds.
An arched gateway with rustic Balinese doors marks the entrance to the beautiful garden, accessed by a dramatic flight of seventeen stone steps leading down from the car-park level. The garden is shaded by verdant jungle foliage and filled with an abundance of brightly coloured, sweet-scented tropical flowers and plants. A gnarled frangipani tree overhangs the enticing swimming pool; the water appears to cascade over the curved infinity edge into the backdrop of banana plants, bamboo, and towering coconut palms. A large relaxation gazebo, known as a ‘Bale Bengong’, is situated next to the pool and offers the comfort of cushioned daybeds. Sunloungers are positioned on the white Palimanan stone patio; hand-carved paras stone statues and garden lamps create a romantic ambience. The property and gardens are landscaped into the slopes of the steep valley, and the approach, via a raised wooden walkway through undisturbed rice fields, gives no clue to the remarkable design of the villa, or the breathtaking views of the jungle and river gorge.

Constructed with high quality local materials including ‘alang alang’ thatch, Palimanan stone and teak wood; the property combines the very best of Balinese architectural elements with contemporary flair, elegant finishes and modern amenities. Villa Vajra is named after the quintessential symbol of Vajrayana Buddhism, a five-pronged ritual object often employed in conjunction with a bell. The Vajra is represented by a carving in a freestanding stone at the main entrance.

Every room and corner of the property has the effect of producing gasps of surprise and delight as guests view it for the first time. The villa is comprised of two buildings, linked on the upper level by a lotus pond and pergola. A serene Buddha statue stands within the lotus pond and white thunbergia cascades over the pergola-covered walkway leading to the Master Bedroom and Studio. The Master Bedroom is characterized by elegant furniture, teak floors, and glass on three sides to maximize the awesome views of the jungle and river valley. Sliding glass doors open on to a timber balcony, fringed by a food forest of fruit trees; the built-in bench seat is an ideal place to absorb the natural surroundings and listen to the ceaseless gurgle of the Ooz River as it coils its way through the deep gorge below. The en-suite garden bathroom is dominated by a large black terrazzo bathtub, creating a strong contrast against the white Palimanan stone floor. A black terrazzo wash stand supports a stylish chrome washbowl, and the shower is flanked by shelves and cabinets. Everything possible has been considered for the comfort of the guests; the luxurious open-air bathtub is sheltered by a thatched canopy, and privacy is maintained by a wall. Wooden shutters, like hatches within the wall, can be opened to reveal a view of the rice fields, and a larger hatch beside the bathtub offers the delightful alternative vista of the jungle. Tree ferns, birds’ nest ferns, and stepping stones across a star-grass lawn complete the natural décor of this charming garden bathroom.

Colourful local artwork adorns the walls of a passage way leading to the Studio on the same floor. Situated on the western side of the villa, this room boasts a panoramic view of the rice fields, and features a pitched roof, a cream terrazzo floor and more built-in cupboards and storage space. The Studio doubles as an additional bedroom and includes an en-suite toilet and shower room with a marble floor and black terrazzo washstand.

The adjacent building, across the lotus pond, holds the Study, with a flat screen satellite TV, DVD player and a quality sound system for the entertainment of the guests. This room also doubles as an additional bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a stone terrace that appears to almost float within the gently swaying fields of rice. Cushioned seating is built into the low wall encircling the terrace, thereby creating a comfortable place for relaxing with a book while enjoying a coffee or a cocktail at sunset. A cathedral window in the Study room overlooks the main living and dining area on the lower level, which is accessed by an external cantilevered staircase.

It is upon reaching this lower level that visitors will be able to fully appreciate the unique design of the villa. The gargantuan, 12 x 8 metre, living and dining pavilion extends the full height of the building and features a marble floor underneath a vaulted roof supported by coconut-wood pillars on stone plinths. Furnished with rattan chairs and sofas, pendulous steel globe lanterns and Buddhist welcome statues, this pavilion represents open living at its very best, and is a fantastic venue for parties, receptions and functions. A small aviary is situated to one side, and a large hatch links the dining area with the fully equipped kitchen, where the cook will prepare a range of delicious Indonesian and Western meals. Next door is a toilet and a shower, and the laundry and staff quarters are situated at the back. The adjoining semi-circular timber deck overhangs the lush river valley and provides an alternative romantic dining area. Living jackfruit trees grow through holes that have been cut in the floor of the deck, creating a solution that blends style with nature without threatening the environment. A further example of environmental conservation is the water recycling system that has been devised for the 8 x 3 metre infinity edge swimming pool, the outdoor Jacuzzi, and the graceful cascade flowing down from the lotus pond above. Another Buddha statue rests within an alcove behind the cascade.

The Guest Room is situated at pool level, within the building that houses the Master Bedroom and Studio. Furnished with a dreamy four-poster bed, the Guest Room features a Palimanan stone floor, windows with sliding doors facing the valley, a dressing room, and a garden bathroom with a black terrazzo tub, shower and toilet.
Rustic stone steps lead down from the swimming pool to the lowest level, past an outdoor shower, a bed of beautiful white peace lilies, and a small lotus pond contained within a stone pot. At this level there is an open terrace overlooking a grassy meadow within the valley. Another wooden deck juts out to one side and a narrow path leads down to the river past a small temple and a coconut grove. On one side is a secret sanctuary, a traditional open pavilion, known as a ‘balé’, with a thatched roof and a raised teak floor scattered with cushions for relaxing. Even here, guests can enjoy music from the sound system, which boasts eight speakers directed towards every corner of the property. On the other side, a fully equipped gym provides the facility to maintain a daily fitness routine while appreciating the wonderful views.

The Master Bedroom, Guest Room, Studio and Study each feature individually controlled air-conditioning units and powerful ceiling fans to keep the rooms pleasantly cool. There are .telephone lines for IDD calls and in-house calls in each room, and also safety deposit boxes. At night the villa takes on a different persona, with cleverly concealed lighting. The views from the house are of typical rice terraces and, in the distance, spectacular Mt Agung and the dramatic mountains towards the north of the island. We have been careful to be environmentally sensitive – green – with many eco-features including solar power and water heating, and a beautiful garden with organically grown fruit trees.

Villa Sebali is just about 10 minute’s drive from the centre of Ubud, the cultural and artistic heart of Bali. All on good roads, half the drive is through typical villages, beautiful rice fields and tropical forest, and half past interesting art galleries, antique and craft shops, and restaurants. Ubud is about one and a quarter hours drive from the airport.

The house is built round three sides of a grassy, flower-ringed courtyard, with the fourth side an infinity pool looking down over a cascade of lotus and water-lily ponds to the orchard. It has four very special bedroom suites and combines the luxury of air-conditioned bedrooms with the delight of open air living.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, a library/games room and a table tennis room.

We have included many environmentally-friendly features, from the thick, alang-alang roofs which provide wonderful insulation, to solar powered water heating and electricity systems, and natural waste water treatment.

The garden is lavishly planted with many sweet-smelling trees and flowers. Beside the pool is a pretty balé, a traditional grass-roofed pavilion for shaded relaxation, while below it a path winds through the lotus ponds down to the orchard with its wide range of tropical fruit trees. The house is approached by a tree fern-shaded path leading from the front courtyard with space for three or four cars, to a bridge over a lotus pool and into the main building.

Dining area: spacious and equipped for up to 12 at table. It is open to the garden at one side and has two steps down to the living area.

At the side is the Kitchen: fully equipped with large fridge-freezer and permanent chilled drinking water.

Living area: an enormous room open to the garden with ample seating and many art works.

All the above areas have rich terra-cotta coloured floor tiles, a lovely combination of warmth for the eye and coolness for the room.

Stairs lead from the living area to Sky bedroom suite: vast, with a fantastic cathedral ceiling and flower-edged terraces facing all four points of the compass with views to die for! A large dressing area leads to the bathroom which is partly open air with wash basin, WC, bath, separate shower and a small garden. One of its four terraces is covered and has seating for relaxing and admiring the garden and view.

From the living area a lobby leads to the south wing with Forest bedroom suite: equipped with twin beds which can also be joined to make one king size bed. The dressing area leads to the shower room with wash basin and separate WC. A door leads through to the Library: an enchanting rotunda which can also be reached directly by steps from the garden. Equipped with flat screen TV, books, games and comfortable seating, this room can either be used as a sitting room for the Forest Bedroom, or as a communal room for all guests.

Again from the living area, a short path leads over the lotus pool to the independent Sunset bedroom suite: This is another generous room with cathedral ceiling and a queen sized bed. The spacious dressing area leads through to the bathroom with basin, WC, shower and garden. It has its own pretty patio.

Across the courtyard and opposite the library is another independent building, Sunrise bedroom suite: As the name suggests, this huge room with its magnificent ceiling and king size bed faces east, towards Mt Agung, and has double doors opening onto a raised deck shaded by a flower-festooned pergola. Steps lead down to the pool and courtyard. There is a big dressing area leading through to the biggest bathroom of all which, again, is partly open to the sky and has its own garden. It is equipped with bath, basin, shower and separate WC.

All the bedrooms have mosquito nets and full air-conditioning, though the house is designed to optimise cooling: all the rooms are shaded by the deep eaves of the alang-alang roofs, and big windows allow refreshing air to flow through freely. There are ceiling fans in all rooms including the living areas.

Additional beds can be supplied, and there is also a very large comfortable daybed in the living area which would make an excellent extra bed. Guests who like the idea of sleeping under the stars could even sleep on the balé!

The Basement is reached by steps from the garden and is a very large room with table tennis table and space to store extra furniture, suitcases etc.

Staff accommodation is situated under the front garden, cleverly cooled by its grass roof. It has its own entrance from the front courtyard car parking area.

The villa is built on almost 3000sq.m. (3/4 acre) so the gardens are generous and have been beautifully planted by a top professional and are maintained on organic principles.

Beyond the courtyard and pool, a series of voluptuous ponds echoing the neighbouring rice fields and planted with lotus and water lilies cascades down to the orchard, and pretty paths wind between them. The orchard is planted with, among other fruits: avocados, pineapples, mangoes, papayas, bananas, jack fruit, durian, nutmeg, lemons and limes. There is also a herb garden for keen cooks.

The infinity swimming pool is 12m. x 4m. plus a side sitting area. For relaxing there are garden reclining chairs and big sunshades as well as the pretty balé. There is a built-in barbeque adjacent to the balé for al fresco cooking and dining.

• Our senior house staff person is Made (pronounced Madé ) a well educated young man who also has very good English. As well as having considerable hotel experience, Made has run a tour company for individual travellers in Bali so can help with suggestions and plans for things to see and do.
• His assistant is Ayu, a delightful young woman who also has some English. If your party is very large, we can employ extra staff from the village.

Catering

• Breakfasts – eggs, toasts, fresh fruit and juices, tea and coffee – are included in the rental and can be served in the dining room or in your room.
• Lunch and dinner are not included, but we can arrange for a cook to come in, or advise on restaurants which can deliver, at your cost. And there are dozens – maybe hundreds – of cafes and restaurants within a 20 minute drive of Villa Sebali, from the very modest to top level.
• Alternatively, you may use the fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, microwave) and the barbeque to cook for yourselves (the staff may well be willing to help out too). There is an excellent supermarket just 10 minutes away which has a huge range of foods, both European and Asian, and an organic section. For the adventurous, the market in Ubud provides all manner of local produce.

This one bedroom plus hideaway, complete with plunge pool, takes its name from the Buddhist concept of “mindfulness”. It can be rented independently or in conjunction with Villa Vajra.

An arch of giant bamboo and an elaborate, traditional Balinese gateway marks the entrance to Villa Sati. This private, walled enclave on the grounds of Vajra Villas is comprised of two thatched-roof pavilions bordering a courtyard, a small garden and a pool. The main two-storey pavilion is a jewel-like marriage of wood and glass offering stunning panoramic views of the rice fields, allows for an appreciation of the complexity and beauty of time-honoured practices of rice farming. Living & Dining Room
The air-conditioned downstairs living-dining room has merbau wood floors with stone borders, and contemporary upholstered furniture of teak wood and rattan. Small bronze statues and artefacts reflect the serene ambience of the villa. The desk overlooks the rice fields as does the dining table, which is set in its own bay window; the cushioned bench seat invites lounging, reading, bird-watching or daydreaming. A teak unit houses a multi-channel satellite flat screen TV, DVD player and quality sound system. The DVD library offers a wide selection for movie viewing.

Kitchen & Food
Smoked glass doors slide open to reveal a small, fully-equipped kitchen where guests are free to practice their own culinary skills. The in-house cook will prepare your complimentary breakfast. A special treat is fresh fruit, much of which is picked from the villa gardens, which will appear as a coconut covered array or in the form of freshly blended nectar. On request, Villa Sati’s talented chef can prepare a wide selection of exquisite Balinese specialties and delicious Western dishes. A separate staff entrance ensures privacy when guests wish not to be disturbed.

Upstairs Convertible Loft
A merbau wooden staircase rises from the living room to a cosy air-conditioned loft room that serves as a sitting/study room. Two deeply cushioned sofas can also serve as twin beds or converted into a queen-sized bed when needed. Three walls of screened glass windows offer expansive views of the surrounding rice fields. A telescope is positioned to magnify the panorama and the tropical vegetation of the adjacent river valley. Midway down the staircase, the guest bathroom has the requisite shower, wash basin and toilet – all with a view!

Bedroom & En-Suite Bathroom
Across the courtyard is the northern pavilion with a soaring intricately thatched roof. Sliding glass doors lead directly from the pool deck into the spacious air-conditioned bedroom furnished with a canopied queen-sized bed. A custom-made teak fitted wardrobe houses a personal safe deposit box. The inviting décor, with its merbau floor bordered by black stone has a luminous deep purple wall which is interrupted by recessed lighting niches. It is enlivened by five shimmering golden paintings by a local Ubud artist. The elegant furnishings also include cushioned water-hyacinth chairs and a table where your breakfast can be served. Stereo speakers bring music from the sound system in the living room.

The en-suite open-air bathroom is a thrilling counterpoint. It is dominated by an over-sized Jacuzzi bathtub under a flowered pergola of cascading thunbergia, bordered by thriving yellow bamboo, orchids, ferns and elephant ears. The washbasin is hand-sculpted from natural river stone, and the shower is contained within a spacious glass cubicle. As throughout the villa, colourful original artwork enhances the experience.

Plunge Pool & Courtyard
Sheltered within the textured stone walls is a small garden of tropical flowering trees and plants, together with a cornflower blue tiled plunge pool – 6.2 X 3.3 metres in size and 1.5 metres deep. The pool is fed by water cascading down a rock wall. Beneath it a sitting ledge invites a refreshing water massage after a busy day of visiting the island. The surrounding timber deck and courtyard is furnished with sunbeds. A dining area is shaded by its own flower-draped pergola which is ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining. In the centre of the garden stands a tall Neolithic stone ‘guardian’ pillar from the Indonesian island of Flores.

Location
Villa Sati is located in the quiet village of Sebali in the district of Kaliki, an area of traditional rice fields and tree-filled ravines which have been carved by rivers racing through fertile volcanic soil. The Villa is one hour and 15 minutes’ drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, a 50-minute drive from several of Bali’s famed beaches, and about ten minutes from the town of Ubud. Its central location makes it convenient for touring the island. Accommodation

Puri Tupai consists of two traditional “joglo” houses, incorporating the best of Javanese and Balinese architecture. Left wing and right wing. Left wing contains two bedrooms, main kitchen, living area, writing table. Right wing contains two bedrooms, bar area, day bed, and entertainment mezzanine lounge.

Bedroom

There are total four bedrooms (three double and one twin) which can accommodate up to eight guests in genteel comfort. All bedrooms are with air-conditioning system and en-suite bathroom but without bathtub.

Living and Dining Area

As mentioned above that each “joglo” is equipped with a spacious living area which surrounded by glass windows and doors. On the living area there is sofa, day lazy bed, writing table, bar are and kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern cooking utensils and operated by a good chef. The dining table seats 8 persons in total.

On the right wing there is an entertainment mezzanine lounge where there is the satellite TV, DVD and VCD Player. The stereo system is set to entertain the whole compound.

This large swimming pool is strategically positioned adjacent to the lawn tennis court to maximize the chance to enjoy the surrounding nature. Close to the pool, there are two more “jineng” where guests may relax and spend the days.

Villa K?NTI sleeps a total of 10 guests in 5 spacious suites located in three of the pavilions. The main pavilion, the Living and Dining Pavilion is connected to the kitchen on the side of the property by a soaring “alang alang” (thatched) roof and carefully landscaped terrazzo and walkways from special stepping stones (pebble washed) to the three suite pavilions – the Master Pavilion, the Temple Pavilion and the Ricefield Pavilion. Each pavilion offers panoramic views to the verdant rice fields beyond.

The Master Pavilion
This is a two-storey pavilion located at the top-end of the property and contains a bedroom suite on each floor, identical in size.

The spacious ground floor bedroom has a creamy terrazzo floor and is decorated with Antique Chinese pottery from Sumatra Island and artifacts from Bali. The king-sized bed is canopied with a white mosquito net; a long writing table and a comfortable [reclining] sofa face a private garden; and heavy purple curtains with blackout lining provide complete darkness. The remote controlled air-conditioning can be individually adjusted to suit your own requirements. The outdoor ensuite bathroom, with a soaking bathtub built from green stone, huge rain-head shower and tropical plant-filled garden allows you complete privacy in the open area. An antique Balinese door provides access from the bathroom to the private garden.

The upper floor bedroom was specially designed to enjoy the surrounding natural environment in its entirety. Sliding louvered glass window cover three of the bedroom’s walls, allowing a clean refreshing breeze to circulate through the room as well as providing breathtaking panoramic views of the garden, the terraces and the rice paddies, all of which can be enjoyed even from the bed itself . The furniture is in old teak wood with beautiful traditional carved panels from Madura Island used as a spacious wardrobe; the queen-size bed is surrounded by a white organza mosquito net’ the white bed linens and curtains add to the romantic and colonial flavour of the room. By design, this suite has a ceiling fan instead of air-conditioning, thereby allowing our guests to enjoy the pristine yet aromatic air. The bathroom has a ‘built-in’ soaking terrazzo bath tub, huge rain-head shower with pebbled flooring and overlooks the terraced rice field.

The Temple Pavilion
Comprised of two different bedroom types (queen bed at ground floor and twin bed upper floor) is very ideal for a family of four. The ground floor bedroom is decorated with artifact from Toraja (in Sulawesi island) and is individually controlled air-conditioned, tranquil and peaceful view to the Villa temple, rice field on the other side and shooting feeling from the sound of the small river. With a spacious ensuite bathroom, soaking bath tub in dark terrazzo, huge rain-head shower and private garden with orchids plants.
The upper bedroom with twin bed has a spacious terrace where a beautiful nature would attract your eyes. The bedroom is decorated with Oriental artifacts and material. The window above the head bed where wooden shelves for some artifacts are placed is covered with a clear glass where you can see the rice field behind the villa with lots of coconut trees at both side.

The Ricefield Pavilion
A one bedroom pavilion with king size bed, decorated with mix artifacts from the islands of Indonesia and in shades of white color for the room linen. The tropical plants that surround this pavilion give a total privacy. The open bathroom is particularly large with huge rain-head shower located under the tree. The stunning wall carving depicting the procession of a temple ceremony is in front of black terrazzo of vanity counter and soaking bath tub also in dark terrazzo with white ‘palimanan’ stone topping.

The Living & Dining Pavilion
This pavilion includes dining area, living area which has open view to the terraced rice fields and also open to the swimming pool, fish pond with water cascades above the pond and to the kitchen where it is fully equipped for your dining experience offering both European and Balinese cuisine.
Above the living area is the library with PC and a printer for your convenience with an internet connection.
Media and entertainment room is located few steps down from the living area where a fascinating big screen satellite TV of 67 inch and home theatre with lots of DVD collection of movie and music. A bathroom with ‘Zen garden’ design is located just next to the TV room and also designed for the pool and public bathroom. Next to the bathroom is the ‘Hammam’ (steam room) in green stone where you would experience a complete relaxation and cleansing before finishing at the hot Jacuzzi just beside – adjoined with the hammam.

Villa Bukit Naga sleeps a total of twelve guests in six spacious suites. There is a one-bedroom guest villa, a huge two-bedroom guesthouse, and the three-bedroom main house. All suites are fully air-conditioned and feature private dressing rooms and large marble bathrooms. Imposing hand-made two-meter square Balinese beds, luxurious cotton sheets, and fine denier mosquito nets ensure an excellent nights sleep. The Main House

The two ground floor bedrooms are identical in size, and both feature indoor as well as outdoor showers set in an ornamental garden. There seems to be endless hanging space in the well-appointed dressing rooms, while individually controlled air conditioning units and powerful ceiling fans keep the rooms pleasantly cool. A double staircase leads up to the master suite, occupying the whole of the first floor of the house. Exquisite touches in the master suite’s interior design make it a very special place to stay. There is direct access from the suite to a large open-air cocktail lounge and bar area with ample seating on Balinese sofas. Awang-Awang can be translated as “floating in the space between heaven and earth” – the perfect description for this beautiful villa perched on the edge of a gorge with breathtaking views of the sacred Petanu River and lush tropical forest.

Location:

Situated in the cool highlands 5 kms from Ubud, famous for its fine art galleries, restaurants and rich cultural life, the villa is a 50 minute drive from the air-port. The ten minute drive from Ubud meanders through stunning scenery of lush rice-fields, mountains and the sacred volcano Gunung Agung towering in the distance.

Villa:

The house was designed by the Balinese architect Ir. Ida Bagus Wiadnyana according to ancient traditions with the correct alignments toward the holy mountain.
Traditional materials are used throughout to harmonize with the environment – alang-alang thatched roofing, hand-made terracotta floor tiles, stone and marble, all crafted by local artists. The house is cooled by fans and natural cross breezes over water gardens.

Entry is via the traditional Balinese gate-way protected by stone guardians. The stone pathway lined with heliconia, orchids, gingers and frangipani leads through tranquil lotus and water-lily filled fish ponds. Antique Javanese doors open onto the large main living area with a soaring alang-alang roof and spectacular views from the open terrace.

Bedrooms:
Antique Javanese doors open from the living room to three bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a queen-sized bed made from old teak-wood and an antique batik table.
A dressing room leads to the marble bathroom with a large terrazzo bath-tub and the outdoor shower area with a hand-carved stone mural. The second bedroom has an antique Javanese queen –sized bed while the third contains two single beds. A large terrazzo and marble bathroom with a deep tub, outdoor shower and double vanity is shared between the 2 rooms.

Lower level:
Stairs lead down to the open dining area with its spectacular views across the lush valley and the sounds of the flowing river below. The dining table is constructed from sections of an antique Javanese house and comfortably seats up to 10.

The kitchen has granite bench tops and is well-equipped with a refrigerator, oven, gas cook-top and modern appliances and utensils.

Antique Javanese doors lead to the fourth bedroom which contains a queen-sized bed and a marble/terrazzo en-suite. Sliding glass doors open to the terrace.

Bottom level:
Steps lead down to the sun deck, pool shower and the infinity edge swimming pool with its stunning backdrop of tropical forest.

Furnishings:
The house contains many unique pieces of antique furniture from Java and Lombok and is decorated with traditional weavings, carvings, statues, and antique shadow puppets. There is a television, CD player, VCR, DVD, and a collection of CD’s and books.

Village and Staff:
The Villa is part of the village of Melayang and guests are always warmly welcomed at local temple ceremonies. Every morning the village priest presents offerings to the gods both inside the house and at the various house temples in the garden.
